he didn't come back for me.
he said he might. so i hoped he would. but he let me down. as only he could.
are my expectations too high? is my self-esteem too low? the obvious answers are no and no.
we'll have to part ways, one of these days.
i still won't know him. he still won't know me. but a year will have passed. and still here i'll be.

i wish you a merry christmas!
watching the barenaked ladies perform their christmas album makes me feel like i'm watching the wiggles. and now regis is peforming "marshmallow christmas" which might as well be barney. am i the grinch?
